My hospital lab is switching to Epic Beaker and I have been given 2 1/2 weeks to find a blood bank system. We are evalulating Haemonetics, Mediware, and Soft.

Any feedback is appreciated. We are a free standing level 1 trauma center and have no donors.

The hospital in Corvallis Oregon has Epic and Softbank I believe. Here is a link to their health system site: http://www.samhealth.org/locations/Pages/default.aspx

OHSU in Portland Oregon has Epic with Mediware as I recall. Their main phone number is on this page.  I'm sure you can get to the BB from there.

We have Haemonetics but not with Epic.  Message me if you want more information about it.

Soft is probably the best BB system out there right now. I worked with Softbank but not with Epic. I know a friend of mine has Mediware and has had problems getting instrumentation to run with it.

We have SoftBank with Beaker.  I HIGHLY recommend it.
