Does anyone use this particular product for checking product temps at return?  Interested in any information that you can give me.

Thanks!

Yes, we have used this product for a few years. I have heard complaints from some that they are not accurate enough, but they perform well for us.

There really is no accurate way to test the temperature of the core of the bag without entering the unit, so any method out there is just accurate to test the outside of the bag, and (I hope) gives us an accurate enough estimate of whether we can accept the unit back. Usually after 10 minutes or so, ours are greater than 10 degrees when returned, so we discard them.

We have used it for over 2 years without a problem.   We validate the temperature annually against a NIST thermometer and it has always matched.
