Fellow Blood Bankers,

I am a SBB student working on my research project and was hoping you could help me by taking this short survey.

Due to the nature of this survey, donor services are unable to participate.

Molecular testing has introduced a massive amount of information to Blood Banks, especially in regards to the D antigen and its associated variants.  New research has led to many recommendations on how to interpret Rh(D) statuses with different populations.  The goal of this survey is to obtain a consensus on how Transfusion Services are handling this information, and if they’ve changed their practices due to these findings.  This information will help us understand what Transfusion Services are doing across the US, and to see if these processes can be standardized.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Please feel free to forward this survey to other Transfusion Services so that we can get as much feedback as possible.  Upon completion of the survey, you will be able to review the results of those that have completed the survey before you.
