Wondering if everyone runs Latron controls as well as whole blood controls daily. It doesn't seem to be required by CAP.

The Latron is not really a control.  It is used to optimize the VCS functioning.  As the instrument ages, the parts need to be "recalibrated" using the Latron.  This will cut down on annoying problems like bad scatterplots and false flags.

I agree with Scott - we currently have both the LH 750 and the LH 500 - and we run Latron daily per the manufacturer's instructions.  =)
