Does any one know how to generate an ISBT pooled label for cryo? My current process pooling random cryo generates a pooled number not compatibile with an ISBT label format . Hemtrax printer does not recognize the pool number and requires ISBT number format.

Actually I do if you are using Meditech that is

In Meditech:

1. enter the pool units routine

2. scan your units to pool

3. press enter until you get to the product field

4. enter the ISBT product (ie CRYO.E3592)

5. at the source field you will need to enter your ISBT number.

6. press enter until you get to the unit number field.

7. in capital letters type the letters ISBT then press enter.

8. from there on out it is the same as if you were using Codabar.
