Are you kidding me? I am sitting here at work breaking all of the christmas bulbs. I can't even explain the fun that I am having. Thanx so much for the snow flakes as well:)

Cliff,

Based on the responses, I think you should keep the light bulbs on for whole year instead of just for christmas!

Cliff,

Your ideas are great! Snowflakes for those of us who miss the snow and stress reliever light bulb tasks!

Thank you for your time and energy in keeping this site up and going so well!

:) But then what would you look forward to for next year?

They'll come down soon, just like the real ones in the house.

Cliff,

The lights are all that kept me sane yesterday.. 14 hours worked for my 10 hour shift. By the time second shift finally showed up I had "Killed" them about 30 times..

Thank you, you allowed me to be civil when they finally arrived.

At least keep them up to ring in the brand New Year! Sad to say, but breaking them makes me happy:)

How twisted is it that Blood Bankers are having so much fun breaking fake Christmas lights for stress relief?! LOL

comment_48455

Terri it is simply a sign of how stressful the profession really is at times. Sad to say.

LOVE the latest twist Cliff; especially the champagne bottle!

comment_48465

Why does Malcolm always get the champagne???!!!

comment_48466

It's a reward for all the exotic antibodies he gets to identify. I don't see any champagne bottles. I guess I'll have to take matters into my own hands tonight. Happy New Year all!

comment_48468

Happy New Year all...guess I'm not special enough to get champagne bottles either...I didn't even sample last night as I had to be at work this morning. In bed by nine..

OK, just to offer some counterpoint, I have to admit as a lover of Christmas lights that it makes me feel bad to break them. I am okay with them being only seasonal. But now I am curious about the champagne bottles.

comment_48485

I've lost it too now, but I'm blowed if I can remember drinking it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

comment_48487

That is what happens with champagne!

I am going to have one more swipe at those lights!

comment_48497

Sorry folks, you only get champagne on New Years eve and day, those have passed. :cries:

The lights will be gone soon too. Again, more to look forward to for next year.

Cliff,

Are you gonna give us something to take the place of the lights?? Please?? They really saved the poor nurses life last evening when I wanted to climb through the phone line and strangle her...By the time she walked the already spiked unit that they tried to transfuse to the wrong patient back to the blood bank I had killed all of the lights (several times) and was able to be civil to her......

comment_48517

I know-Cliff could do hearts for us to break (ha ha) for Valentine's Day, bunnies for Easter, turkeys for Thanksgiving, etc!

Molly ;-)

Cliff you are great I will anxiously await them...Hopefully I can find another stress release until then.
