What are other's basing the length of time an apheresis platelet can be away from the lab after it has been issued so that if it is not used the aphresis platelet can be returend to available status?

we use 2 hrs as the length of time, since that's how long it would take to get from a supplier (being out of the rotator). We also ensure the temperature is with acceptable limits and check for presence of swirling and pH prior to re-issue.

we use 30 min for all products, CT state inspectors like the 30 min rule.
