Yanxia (and any others that celebrate the Chinese New Year),

May the year of the dragon be prosperous for you and yours and may you enjoy many blessings.

Yanxia, I have read it is the year of the water dragon, which only happens like once in 60 years. I was wondering if you know what the special significance is and does this mean I should go to the beach or stay away from it :)

CM2, in China the water also means smoothly and good luck, so the year of the water dragon is very good. As you say it only happens once in 60 years, but this is no ralationship with go to beach or stay away from it.

There is also a kind of voice saying the baby born in this year will have good luck all their life.
