Hi all

Is anyone else using an electronic portfolio system to log their CPD? The one provided by the IBMS is quite frankly appalling and to me we ought to be addressing HPC standards with our CPD to maintain our registrations rather than using their rather laborious points system.

I signed up to one at cpd-online.com and I must say that I am rather impressed with it. You can upload certificates, minutes, documents etc etc and it directly addresses what the HPC say you should be doing with CPD. I can highly recommend it to you all in the UK.

Dave.

Yeah, we use that one at work.

I signed up to the other one above as its a personal thing to maintain your registration via CPD without any intervention from work. Basically I store it all electronically now and don't have lots of disorganised paper in a file like I used to!

Ahh get you. I'm reluctant to have two on the go and repeat things so I just use the eKSF one for both. You can still store the documents just not link them ;)

Never heard of cpd online and we don't do e-ksf at work

I do use the IBMS CPD one and though I would not describe it as appalling it could be a lot better - no attachments allowed and having to find the correct codes for the cpd are annoying, if you forget to change the default date you have to email them to change

Will look into the cpd online

Bew member and so far both started threads are promoting products - I suspect this is actually a spambot advertiser...

I certainly am not thank you very much. I'm not a new member, I read this forum quite often but don't post much.
