Malcolm,

You are still a "puppy" - I am 62 with an artificial hip!

Have certainly gone from an A Pos to an A Neg though!

John and Malcolm you two are just not quite right! Thanks for the laugh on a Monday morning.

Hi Deny,

Glad we got your Monday off to a good start!

I had a professor in college tell my class that anyone that worked in a medical lab was a little "left of center". At the time I thought that was an awful thing to tell us. Over time I have grown to accept his comment and even admit that he was correct!

Regards,

John

The problem is that we tend to be amoeba shaped pegs in a square hole world. Sometimes we fit just fine and other times we don't even stay on the board. I always have to be careful of who I am eating with because I will blythely make lab comments in the middle of meals. I get quite the dark looks from people with weak stomachs (and I never thought I had a strong one!).

I have noticed a "margin" of empty tables around the lab group during meals now that you mention it!! Too funny.

We also use our Ortho confidence control to QC our panels. We rotate a different panel cell each day and screen these with our other reagent QC.
