Does anyone have experience in the set up for scanning the ISBT special testing barcode into Meditech. We are version 5.5.7. Thank-you.

BUMP - I am also having difficulties. I have the CMVN Marker defined in the LIS Marker Dictionary with the proper ISBT 128 barcode (N0008). Meditech states that the only way to get this to work (as of now) is to edit the unit using the "Edit Unit" Routine, however scanning the barcode gives an "Undefined Entry" error. I am using C/S 5.64.

I now know that in order to get this to work you need to create an INPUT RULE in the BBK-BARCODE-TERM Dictionary. If there are any customers that have this working, can you cut and paste the rule you have defined?

Thanks

I just saw this post, and for those who may not have this working yet, there is a Knowledge Base article that addresses this problem.  It is number 45013 and I have the CMVN barcode working after following these instructions.

I have confirmed that if you are using the Meditech supported on-demand ISBT128 print system (HemaTrax) and Meditech passes the proper request for special test bar code then HemaTrax will print the "N" codes have requested.

Does anyone know how to set up ISBT for neonate aliquots?

We recently converted over to ISBT and my current aliquot procedure does not work with ISBT labeling .

Thanks,
