Hello Everyone,

Should quality control be done for crossmatching on the ProVUE?

Yes it should, based on the fact that the gel cards are considered reagents. We set ours up with "home made" reagents (valdated of course).

A cells give pos reaction, B cells give negative reaction.

For gel xm we use sensitized and not sensitized O pos "home made" cells. Sensitized give pos rxn, not sensitized give neg rxn.
