should malaria slides examination need wearing gloves to avoid contamination or not

those are fixed and stained slides, the parasite is not viable; technically it can not be transmitted but nonetheless working in the lab without gloves should not happen!

There is no risk of malaria transmittance but the risk of viral contamination retains so gloves should not be avoided.
