On a related note, does anyone have experience using Medion cells? I am looking for alternatives to the greedy big guys??

I love the Medion panel . . . DataCyte. Have been buying it for 4 years. Works well as 0.8% cells also. Always a Kpa+ cell and usually a Jsa+ too.

I agree, the DataCyte panel is great. We also switched most of our reagents to Bio-Rad (Biotest) and are very happy.

We swithched to Medion following Immucor price increase. We are happy with the 3 cell screening cells and the Panel. We changed vendor for everything possible including cells, reagents, antisera etc.

are you just talking manual reagents or will the other reagents work for the ECHO?

I am talking about manual reagents. We use Gel (Provue) primarily.

We are using the Datacyte panel and biotest reagents for quite a while and are very happy with them.
