Looking for valid protocol/instrumentation for warming blood from a syringe for neonates? any ideas

This may be ignorance on my part, but aren't most blood warmers in-line? They could work no matter whether the source is a bag or a syringe because they warm what is in the tubing.

I know the type of prewarmer you are refering to but I think that there might be a practicality issue with it's use for a syringe given the extended length of tubing involved. I have not heard of any syringe prewarming device but I am not sure if there is a practicle way to prewarm a syringe in a controlled waterbath prior to transfusion.

I did not think it was practical to use blood warmer due the small amount of blood involved and slow rate of infusion.
