Where are you getting brass weights re-certified? We have a set from Troemner and the only company I can find so far is Troemner themselves.

It would depend what we are using the weights for ...

If weighing food sizes in the break room, we would not. If we are checking our scales used to weigh blood products, we do.

We recertify all of our measuring systems according to the schedule in our Quality Plan. Our brass weight set is recertified annually by the same outside agency that recertifies out balances.

We send our weights to our state Department of Agriculture's metrology lab. I think that they charge $20 to recertify them. If you can't find anyone, I'll post the address for the metrology lab. I think that they'd do this for anyone who is willing to pay, whether in-state or not.

Do you recertify them even if the only donors are Therapeutic Phlebotomy patients?

We use our weights in all aspects of collection but to answer your question; yes, we would recertify.
