We recently purchased a Rotanta 460R (made by Hettich) tabletop centrifuge which will be used primarily to spin adsol units for removing the adsol.

We are having trouble with UNBALANCE errors even when the units appear to be perfectly balanced by weight.

Does anyone have any experience with this centrifuge??

This is an old post, but in case anyone has this centrifuge and is having issues, here is a link to the repair manual:

Do you have a protocol how you manage spinning blood in this centrifuge. We have the same centrifuge and we are having similar issue . What is the time and RPM that you are using to spin?  Can you share your protocol how to manage units and removing adsol? Is this for neonate exchange or aliquots?

Thanks,,
