Does anyone have any experience with anti-A and/or anti-B titers of apheresis platelets? What is your procedure? How did you validate it? What type of QC do you perform? How are your products labeled?

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

we perform our titer @ RT and read after 15 mins. our cut off is 64. We looked at litreature and reviwed other hospital practices and came up with our own guidelines...which is I think more on conservative side.

Our center used to titer many years ago. We diluted the plasma 1:50 and tested against A and B cells. Do not do the procedure any more.
