We are still using Copper Sulfate for Hemoglobin determination. What are other users doing for method and frequency of QC?

The AABB Tech Manual recommends QC on the day of use, but some FDA references indicate "periodic" QC.

we use the aabb tech manual to QC our cuso4 but as to frequency we just do the periodic checking of CUso4
