We are in the process of getting a new centrifuge for spinning our patient samples. We recently had 2 Silencers but they turned to be very disappointing, so we are sending them back. They had heating issues, balancing issues, etc.

We are now looking at the Helmer Rotina 380. Does anyone have any input on this model? We have a few instruments from Helmer and are quite happy with them and feel the Helmer would be of good quality.

Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We have a new Hettich (by Helmer) Rotofix 32A and love it. It is compact and quiet. No problems.

You can't go wrong with Helmer products in my opinion. Another suggestion is the StatSpin from Iris. It spins Blood Bank samples in 3 minutes; works great.

the Quikspin from Helmer is wonderful. 2 minute spin for blood bank specimens (plastic tubes)
