Back in 2002 PBS showed a 4 part documentary called: Red Gold, The Epic Story of Blood... I know its available for sale on thirteen.com but I was just curious if any one out there has a copy I can borrow! It's expensive on the web site, and they've never aired it again on PBS. It was a great documentary for us Blood Bank nerds, and I would love to show it to my students (although I think they would hate me!)
