I am preparing to validate our Echo interface and am wondering if anyone has a written validation protocol I could borrow. If you are willing to share, please let me know. And, Thanks!!!

We have an Echo, interfaced to Horizon Blood Bank (SafeTrace Tx), through the DI.

Anna, I see you made it here. Hopefully someone will be able to help. If not I'll do some checking and see how far along they are at my old place of employment and see if they would be willing to share.

Anna, we have not validated the Echo interface yet...but we did validate it's predecessor the ABS2000....We tested all blood groups both RH+ and RH= to verify that the reactions came over correctly. My supervisor wanted the testing reactions to be sent over...and then our LIS Cerner would perform the interp of the reaction pattern. We additionally wanted both + and = antibody screen results to be sent.

No, so I developed a validation protocol of my own.
