Hi

We have Meditech C/S and also a Provue. Has anyone out there been successful in interfacing Cord Bloods? We have our Type and Screens interfaced (within the Meditech limits), but cannot get our cords to work. We cannot get both ABO and RH to cross.

In the 'analyzer type' dictionary be sure that you are mapping to the correct tests for your cord blood ABO/Rh. for instance, our Channel 1, names ABO/RH maps to the following tests - ABOUNIT, ABORH RHIG, PROVUEABORH and ABORH. Channel 3 (>A) maps to test >A, etc, until all tests are mapped.
