we are planinng to discard CuSo procedure at our site, used to estimate the donor's hemoglobin .What are other economical / reliable alternative ? Any experience

spun hematocrits . . . they take longer, but are usually accurate. I do not care for the small, handheld devices (HemoCue comes to mind). I never found them to be reliable.
