Need help from any Blood Bank that has gone live with HCLL.

I need to build a Daily MTS Gel Reagent QC into our HCLL.

Anybody entering their Daily MTS Gel Reagent QC in HCLL or still recording them manually.

I will like to contact any HCLL live users on this topic or you can contact me by e-mail.

Thanks.

The number of live HCLL facilities is approaching 200 locations. Please be leery of messages posted by “korchek†as I believe this individual is a disgruntled former Mediware employee.

I have successfully built a daily QC rack for MTS gel and tube reagents. We are going live with HCLL on 9/16 and this rack works well for us.

My work e-mail is Mary_Mendel@ssmhc.com

Can't help you out on the gel system, as I'm on the Donor side. We are the first site in the country to go live with HCLL Donor. It's not that bad of a system.

Are any of you using HCLL in the transfusion service side of your blood bank? We're going to be adding it to the donor side in about a year, but we're having tremendous difficulties with what has been installed (we went live on Sept. 13 of this year). It's too slow for our large volume of blood bank samples and, more importantly, too cumbersome during emergencies when patients are bleeding out.
