Hi

I am revising the form we currently use for this purpose - does anyone have a form for tracking/calculating that they'd be willing to share? I need some 'fresh' ideas, and there is always someone out there whose form is much better than my imagination.

thanks!

Hi mobea,

We do not track this on a form, but use a simple access database we developed inhouse.

Interesting you should mention this, BloodBankTalk will offer a commercial product to do just what you are asking - track red cell loss online for your donors. We anticipate it to be released in the next 6-9 months. It will be highly flexible and fully customizable by each facility.

Thanks Cliff. I really just need a form right now, so if anyone is willing to share I'd be appreciative (even if you've moved to electronic tracking, I'd love to see what you used to use)

I have a form that "works" for us although it is cumbersome and tedious. If you send me an email I will forward the electronic copy to you and you can see if it would be helpful.

Cliff, I can't wait to hear more about the commercial product! Good for you!!
