New supervisor concern: I would like to have feedbacks on how many of you are using Anti-C3d only for your DAT workup. Right now I'm using Anti C3b-C3d reagent but after some challenge question on a CAP survey we were wondering if we should be using only the Anti C3d or actually both of them. We use the anti-C3b,-C3d . . . why? because we always have (I guess).

It seems to me only one manufacturer makes the C3d alone. We use the combo.

We also only use C3b-C3d. We only perform if Poly is positive. We also document the anti-C3 and complement check cells on our daily reagent QC form on an 'as needed' basis.
