Finally figured out the right product code for aliquots/syringes!

How do you label syringes and or pedipak 50 ml 2X3 inch bags? for ISBT compliance?

Is it acceptable to label the 4 X 4 format to a 4 X 4 tie on tag ? Because obviously all those barcodes are not going to fit :cries:

What are you doing

We use a base label with all of the appropriate labels on it and then wrap it around the syringe. There is just enough room for the label without covering up the graduation marks on the syringe.

:) As a Meditch user we suggest you contact DIgi-Trax at 800-356-6126. We have a 4 X 4 label with a back split that is designed to attach to syringe so only a portion sticks and the balance is a flag that hangs off so as not to cover the syringe...can probably be used with pedi-pack. This is all a part of our Hema Trax on-demand ISBT128 labeling system which is interfaced to all Meditech versions.

This is a quote from a something I posted last with regards to custom labels. They did a base label for us for our neonatal syringes.

We had our labels custom made by Centurian Label Systems in Howell, Michigan. There number is 1-800-248-4058 and web address is www.tshsc.com. Our quality specialist compared them with Shamrock and was happy with their product.
