Hi...I'm from Indiana (Go Colts) and I will certainly have BBTalk on "speed dial" seeing that I have been a lab generalist the majority of my 30yr career. I am presently working 3rd shift at a facility that could not be any more different than my previous position which I held for the already noted 30yrs. Blood Bank to me means majors and minors and spending lots of time labeling tubes, so anything I can learn from all you guys will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks....

Hi! Welcome to Bloodbanktalk! Working that third shift can be challenge in itself. I did it for several years myself. There is a lot of knowledge to be shared here so I sure you will learn a lot.

Cliff: I think you have that Patriot/Colts thing backwards!!

Seeing that they couldn't beat the Jets at home, I fear I must agree. Plus the Colts are still undefeated, very impressive.

Unfortunately, the Colts tend to choke towards the end. Still they are one of my favorite teams, after the Bills of course.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to welcome me. I had sort of been expecting messages refering to my lack of BB experience, but that was not the case at all. And, as far as the Colts are concerned, after what I saw of the Bills game, I don't think I'll be making any Super Bowl plans. But until then, I'll be tuned into BB Talk ready to learn!!

Welcome to BBtalk! you will find much to learn here and many links to more resources. I'm a 3rd shifter and really enjoy it...most of the time.

Welcome! I am a Bucs fan, but would just LOVE for Tony Dungy to win the big one - he deserves it - since Gruden got his win off of Tony's hard work!

This is an awesome site. I spend a lot of time here - it seems as though after every conversation out in the BB where a tough topic comes up - I go in my office and pull up BBTalk and there are great discussions at my fingertips!

Even though they dropped their first game yesterday - I'm still hopeful that the Colts can hang in there the whole way this year!
