We have looked at a few Blood Bank Systems this year. The "Bells and Whistles" today are color screens, popups etc etc.. Patient Safety is addressed with the "players" no doubt about that!

What about Management / Standard Reports? This is an essential factor and in my opinion a big one in the decision making. If you are running the latest version of your blood bank system please tell me about your management reports.

For example but not limited to:

Did your site decide to write customized reports instead? Are you still having to do manual tallies to get the data you need from multiple sources? Can the reports distinguish between multi-facility? Etc.. Any report you fell is the best standard report your system has, please let me know as well.

Many Sunquest reports have bugs in them and they don't seem to be doing much about it. Customer service has really gone downhill at Sunquest recently.
