Is anyone on this list using SoftBank? I would like to know what you think of the product and the support you have received. Our hospital may be looking for a new LIS and SoftLab is one name that was mentioned.

Softbank is a very good system. Company and support are very good. Only drawback is that there are too many different ways to do the same thing.

I have been working on Softbank for about 6 months, we have not gone live yet. There are many ways of doing the same thing and like any computer system you have to find what works best for you. There are many question screens which are a bit awkward for documentation. There is not a whole lot of information for validation, but I have already validated one system so I can get it done. My support person is very helpful, initial training could be better. My initial class was crowded and not much personal attention.

The real test will be after the GO Live!. Good Luck!

We looked at Softbank 4 years ago and went with SafeTrace instead. At that time Softbank wasn't really "Windows" and they couldn't support a multiple site situation. I've heard they've improved. Good luck!
