We use the Hemobioscience EluClear kit and having issues with gel testing. We see erroneous results with gel at times. Anyone else have these problems? I'm considering switching to tube testing only for eluates.

I have not had problems using the Immucor elution kit.  Been using it with gel for 15+ yrs.

Am not familiar with HB kit.

Dear BBSLM, I am happy to walk you through some hints and tips in using the Hemo bio kit with gel cards, we use it all the time with Grifols and Ortho Gel cards here in our testing lab.  The Hemo kit is very similar to the Immucor /Gamma kit as it is an acid elution method.  However the Hemo kit is the only one that has been validated for use with gel cards by the manufacturer.  our phone is 919 313 2888 and email is info@hemobioscience.com
