    I work in a transfusion service in a 400 bed hospital. We are currently wanting to correlate the different temperature monitors that actually are attached to units of blood. Any suggestions and also how many is normal to compare in a validation study? Thanks

    Culturing units from possible transfusion reactions?

    Regarding a possible transfusion reaction, what symptoms would you use to determine when to set up a culture on the unit and do you perform a gram stain immediately?
