    Hi, Has everybody recieved the letter from Ortho for performing immediate spin crossmatch with MTS gel crossmatch? What is everybody doing about this. In our facility we have electronic crossmatch, but for patient's with positive antibody screens we use the MTS gel. Thanks blessed

    Per AABB the Type and Screen is good for five days as long as the patient has not been transfused.
