  1. We met with our Biotest sales rep this week. Their reagents are in the final stages with FDA for approval. Should be available this summer. Hopefully by June. They have some nice looking monoclonal reagents. We do not have a price list yet. www.BiotestUSA.com
  2. We have been purchasing Medion 11 cell Panel for several years now. It is primarily for rare antisera QC and for selected cells. I’m not sure of the cost of this panel. The cells hold up well. We keep selected rare cells off panels beyond their expiration dates. They typically have a cellano negative cell on their panels. The Medion cells hold up better than our other 2 manufacturers. As for a primary panel, sometimes there antigrams are not put together as well as other manufacturers. We run into needing to test extra rule out cells. It fits into our lab well and gives up additional donor panel cells to choose from. I didn't think they manufacturered anything other than cells that were FDA cleared in the US. However, we haven't researched this company in awhile.
  3. We us Antigen Plus. It took a little getting use to, but we really like it. It is a real time saver.
  4. Gloria, The only product from them I am familiar with is their Datacyte panel. Our blood center purchases this panel from Olympus. We primarily use this for antisera QC or as a backup panel for rule outs.
