    Weak D testing on cord blood with Positive DAT

    What is everyone's process for Weak D testing on cord blood if there is a positive DAT? Suggestions made in our system: Continue with the Weak D testing and use reaction strength to differentiate a positive result from the positive DAT. Don't perform Weak D, report as RH neg. Don't perform Weak D, report as RH indeterminate suggest retest in 4 months.

    Thawed FFP Apheresis ISBT product code

    Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows the ISBT product code for the following product type: Thawed Apheresis Fresh Frozen Plasma|CP2D/XX/refg The frozen starting code is E4142V00. We are switching to a new computer system that requires a target product code for each starting product when we process the thaw in the system but we cannot figure out what this one is.
