Hello all, When you send the positive antibody for ID to referance lab and when the results comes back, how do you attach the billing part or how do you handle the billing that needs to charge to patient in your blood bank system that you use. We have sunquest (MYSIS) and we order antibody ID in TYSC if positive and if can't figure out the ID, sends to referance lab and once the results back, put that in antibody ID section which we order in TYSC and then order a comment code and enters that antibody ID done at ...... referance lab. But I was just wondering how my billing department will know that this ID was done at ref. lab and needs to charge more than they charge regularly for inhouse IDs?

I checked out about T-seal and asked the price quote on that, haven't heard back from yet. I will also look in to Genesis BPS. Thank you both for helping me out

Hi all, We currently use TSCD-II welder as our sterile docking system. We do not have tube sealer to go with it. We are currently using manual clipping method to cut the tubing. I am in search of good, economical tubing sealer. Can any one share any info on this please. Really appreciate the help.

Thank you. That helps. Some more questions though... How would you handle the result entry once wrong result already resulted in patient record and then you have to enter the correct report? Do you permenantly delete the accession number with the wrong results or leave the results and append with the comment and does it take away wrong results permenantly from the physician portal?

Can someone share their corrected result report policy for blood bank? will really appreciate any help.
