PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT DO WE DO IF A PATIENT HAS A SUSPECTED TRANSFUSION REACTION, THE DAT IS POSITIVE , ELUTION IS NEGATIVE AND THIS PATIENT HAS RECEIVED NON-GROUP SPECIFIC PRODUCTS.
A patient transfused on 06/02/09 and antibody screen negative. Patient returns 07/02/09 antibody panel is positive, dat positive, antibody is anti-jka. Yet, the bilirubin and the ldh has increased since 06/02/09. What happened with this patient?
