  2. You can't re-result a well that has already been used......our rule is once it's used, it's invisible. A second incubation and/or centrifugation for the same well does not yield a vallid result.

    Several years ago, I was watching one of those medical based dramas - I think it was Quincy - and he walked into a patient's room to find a fully stocked phlebotomy tray sitting on the patient's bed, right next to the patient. Just waiting for him to come in and draw a sample. I remember telling my husband what a no-no that was!
  4. If you are using Alba-QChek you will need to run both of the antibody 'positive' samples in order to achieve pos rx for all 3 screen cells.
  5. We have had problems ever since the reformulation of the Ortho cells. Now I routinely run a DAT on the screen cells each morning - if they look hazy or have jagged button I grab another set. I hope they can work out the formula issues soon - we love gel but it's not very cost effective to have to go through screen cells like this!
