  1. Did you perform a DAT on the patient? A positive DAT may interfere with the patient's D typing. Also, a check of the patient's history may determine that she has received WinRho and/or Rhogam. Did you titer the antibody? The strength may also help you determine if the antibody is actively acquired or passively acquired.
  2. We only perform an eluate if the patient has been transfused within the last 14 days.

    My name is Marilisa Warner and I am the Team Leader for the Transfusion Service at Lake Hospital System, a two hospital system in Willoughby and Painesville Ohio. If there is anyone out there who has had experience building the ISBT128 component codes in Sunquest version 6.1 or above, I would greatly appreciate any advice you could give me. We are in the process of upgrading our system from 5.4 to 6.3. I look forward to using this site, I have already gotten some good information from it.
