:mad:Hello there. We just missed Anti-D by using capture R in Galileo in our QC survey sample. It is reaaly frustrating missing Anti-D. Have you had the same problem before using capture R and Galileo? We also had the AB+ patient typed as A+.

Our blood center uses Cobe spectra and Trima from Caridian BCt (former Gambro BCt) It is a piece of equipment. We are very happy with the machine. It is a very safe and efficient. The donors also love them. On trima each donor can have different time. Some will finish more or less in one hour. Hope this help.

Yes, you are not alone. we do have the same problem using galileo and each time we go back and use other techniques just to confirm our results. As with yours we are also waiting for explanation.

My facility uses currently Galileo. Does anyone having any problem with phenotyping reagent using Galileo??
