    Coolers - Transport or Storage?

    We use the igloo coolers for our vascular surgical cases. We consider the coolers as storage units and we change out the ice packs in them every 3 hours to maintain a 1-6C range. We also validate these coolers semi-annually. Kris MT (ASCP) BB:)

    We have had a Helmer -30C for 4 years and it performs very well for us.
