    If our pneumatic tube system is down, we dispense all blood\components in clear ziplock bags. There is no biohazard labeling on them. This is mainly for spill containment if the unit is dropped on the way to the unit.

    Galileo and crossmatching

    Does anyone using Galileo run crossmatches on it? We currently do and are not getting good results. A patient with Anti-E and xm E negative rbcs come up incompatible on Galileo and this happens consistently with various antibodies. Our backup system is to use tube with PeG.
