Am i missing some thing ? need help

Good Morning every one , i am just dealing with one patient

BLOOD GROUP    = A POSITIVE

AUTO                     =NEG

DAT                       = NEG

XM                          = compatible (with all 3 unit including one O+ unit)

IAT        l = 2+ , ll = 2+ , lll = 3+

ABI panal A (Identification)  = NEG

 

repeated with change screening cell but result is same .

 

a lots of thanks in advance

 

 

anyway we are using ortho Autovue Innova

THANKS for reply , yes i we are using the same ortho reagent , and the preservative is same for both , today i  checked with the freash sample from the patient post op , i find it weaker reaction like 0.5 , 0.5 , 1 respectively with ortho and now manuall its shows negative now still i am not clear with that .

Are you using the same method for Antibody Screen and Antibody ID?

 

If you are using MTS for the Antibody Screen and Tube Testing for your Antibody ID, the results you describe can happen simply because of the gel situation.

 

(And 0.8% cells are not in the same preservative/diluent as 3% cells.)

 

Just a thought ... some hospitals mix and match that way.
