Mediware: units stuck in shipped out status

We've had this problem for some time--and have put in a ticket -- but so far no resolution. We have no idea what is going on.

When we ship out (goes to SO status) a product from our hospital to one of our off-sites for transfusion there, often the people at the other end find that the unit is "locked in shipment" -- they cannot remove it from the SO status. The workaround we have been using for years is to remove it from a terminal at the shipping site (the hospital).

Usually this involves having to use the same terminal that it was shipped from -- often the same user has to be logged on, othereise we cannot remove it from SO either.

Anyone else have this problem and have come across a better way to resolve it?
