DeeMc
It seems as if our patient's are getting more complicated every day especially when we are seeing an increased use of IVIG treatment. Sometimes we can see a clear specificity in the plasma but panagglutination in the eluate. We obviously honor the specificity in the plasma and give antigen negative blood, AHG crossmatched. But, can we ever determine if this is really an allo, an auto or the IVIG? None of the patients appear clinically to be hemolyzing.
