Another source, although not strictly speaking an SOP, is the 2nd edition of the excellent book by lawrie Petz and George Garratty, Immune Hemolytic Anemias.

Reading the chapter on cold AIHA may save you an awful lot of work. The main thing being that the thermal range of the antibody is the most important thing, the titre occasionally an important thing and the specificity almost always a complete and utter waste of time (the last because, even if the antibody turns out to be an anti-I, where are you going to source adult ii units that are also covered in C3dg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
