Mary
I would be interested in hearing from those of you that are using Rhophylac vs RhoGAM. I know it is cheaper.
David
When we first inquired with nursing about the IV advantage they thought it was of minimal value. Now they protest when we suggest switching back! They sometimes leave the hep-loc in longer just to be able to give the RhIG IV. It is really nice when you have to give multiple doses to a patient. The reimbursement is better as well. DANDERS
We switched to Rhophylac some time ago. Like David, the nurses weren't interested in the fact that it could be given IV. Now they are.
