Cliff Posted October 12, 2004 Share Posted October 12, 2004 We are a large facility that does a lot of cardiac surgery. I do not believe these patient require much in the way of blood needs. These procedures aren't on our list of those that we would "automatically" set up blood for. Then of course if they rupture, that's a whole different story.
