Weak D testing on cord blood with Positive DAT

What is everyone's process for Weak D testing on cord blood if there is a positive DAT?

Suggestions made in our system:

Continue with the Weak D testing and use reaction strength to differentiate a positive result from the positive DAT.

Don't perform Weak D, report as RH neg.

Don't perform Weak D, report as RH indeterminate suggest retest in 4 months.

We performed weak D testing regardless of the DAT result as long as the Rh control is negative.

If the Rh control is positive, we would perform EGA treatment if the mom need Rhogam.  Otherwise, we would request for heelstick or result as Rh indeterminate.
